Schedule:

Friday 06/16 (6:30-7:30pm)
Archive Party in the a83 Gallery with an exhibition of etchings from previous Polyline to Print workshops and selected works from the a83 print archive with an introduction of all the other print processes and how they are different or similar to etchings.

Friday 06/16 (7:30-8:30pm)
Exhibition open to the public

Saturday 06/17 (10am-6pm)
Workshop intensive, linework and etching

Sunday 06/18 (10am-6pm)
Workshop intensive day, plate preparation, inking and printing

Monday 06/19 (6:30pm)
Closing night, with a display of all the prints in the gallery space. (optional, open to the public)

Supplies: One 4x6" copper etching plate, ink, consumables, and proofing paper will be provided. Etching needles and other printmaking tools will be available for loan. Please supply your own laptop and/or notebooks. Old clothes and closed shoes required.

Other details: 8 participants max. To reserve a spot and receive more information please visit the a83 website. Experience with vector-based drawing in Rhino, AutoCAD, or Illustrator is preferred. Templates and guidance will be provided for each attendee upon registration.
